Pavlikeni is situated in the central part
of the Danubian Plain, at a distance of
about 4 km north of the Rositsa River. It
230 km north-east of Sofia, 43 km north-west
of Veliko Turnovo, 22 km south-east of Levski,
about 40 km north-east of Sevlievo and about
50 km south-west of Byala.
The hilly type of some settlements, the
environment and the interesting natural
sights in the municipality are prerequisites
for the development of tourism.
Investors from Iceland plan a new golf
course in Pavlikeni, plans for the construction
of a golf course and related facilities
on a 100 ha site near the city. The investors
have proposed to design the golf complex
in co-operation with the municipal authorities.
The investors are from the Holm Group.
